Flat and round style earrings may reflect the sun, moon and other celestial objects.   Also, round designs, like the drum, represent the earth and the heartbeat within us. We have some earrings made in the form of drums and disks from shells which are traditional designs. Those offered here are the popular pink shell and abalone shell disks.  The earrings made in the style of a drum are out of small pieces of raw hide and tied in the back and painted, they are from the Northwestern coast and Plateau regions.  Pictured here we have some painted earrings with panther paws and other sun/moon with antlers.
