Many of our moccasins are done in the style of the woodlands.   These are "soft sole" with a vamp that is beaded or embroidered.   Some of our vintage mocs are from the First nations in the northeast.  Many of our others are more recent and have been done by elders (mostly) in the Northwest - especially in Canada as they are the last to regularly do this style.  Most of these are done the old way - using smoked brain tanned dear, elk or moose leather.  

Some of the moccasins we have bought from the people making them, some from family members of the makers.  We do the best we can to estimate sizes, but it is always best to allow space - easier for children's sizes!.   Andrea does do moccasins occasionally on special order.
