2 pair of these small earrings are $25 pr.

Then we have some less expensive different types of other earrings   These are all currently in stock.  The first 5 pair of bead, strawberry, corn, and 2 ball and cone are $5 each.  The big bead are $5 and stone bears are $8.  The crinoid earrings, small round stone fossils that we find in Midwest stream beds, are $8 a pair.  Andrea makes most of these earrings and tries to keep with eastern Woodland themes like the strawberry festivals and green corn dances.  Ball and cone are a common "old style".  The bead and stone bear earrings are from beads and carvings we buy or trade for (Paul does carve his own stone animal fetish earrings of stone- )  The stone fossil crinoids were often used as beads like wampum.  Paul even thinks that the wampum stories of Hiawatha finding beads in a dry pond or lake when he made his first wampum belt may have been inspired - or actually were these crinoids as it is possible to find many in some dry pond beds.  We can make any of these types of earrings on order and will be carrying a variety of styles.  All these in stock now:

          $5                                 $5

$15 crinoids (fossels)  Buffalo Nickel $20

We also carry some small rawhide drum earrings we got in trade made by Kootenai Indian artist Dan Wilson - these are popular in the Northwest where personal hand drums are common.. you may by this pair or ask for a list of others in various colors and styles.  Also Mercury dime coin earrings- various dates and they are in bezels that unscrew if you want to remove the dimes ( emergency phone call from the past or something?).  And one mystery pair of earrings-  old silver eye glasses that fold in and out- they are antique.  All of these are now in stock:

    $14           $10            $25

lots of different little drum earrings (showing the paw print earrings above) for $14

Paul René and Andrea are enrolled in the Piqua Shawnee (state recognized tribe for purposes of the US Indian Arts and Crafts Act). Paul has been learning and creating traditional art work since he was a child. Much of his work is inspired by traditional designs of the Eastern Woodland including Wôbenaki ('People  of the East' or 'Dawn'), Shawnee, and Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Peoples. He is inspired also by his his French artist ancestors his great-grandfather René T. deQuelin and his grandmother Madeline deQuelin Tamburro. The name 'Sunrise Drum' is a simplified version of Paul's Indian name. Andrea is most inspired by the material culture of the mid-western and southern Shawnee, Lenape, Mingo and Cherokee.  Paul's mark used on all of his art pieces is similar to the logo at the top - sunrise around a drum - this reminds him of some of his Native ancestors who lived on the East side of Newfoundland (as sunrise as you can get on Turtle Island - North America!).  Also, the French name René is for "reborn" and Tamburro means "drum".
