Bracelets: Silver and Copper bracelets come in various sizes including child sized. An "average" bracelet is 6" (15cm) of material. However, we handcraft each bracelet so we can accommodate various sizes. If you send measurements of your wrist, we can ensure the right size for you. Since each piece is hand done, no two pieces are alike.  Click on some of the items below to see them in greater detail.   Paul is now doing special orders again.  His silver work makes great Valentine and anniversary presents or a great heirloom quality gift for any occasion.

The large Badger bracelet below right was one of two I made on a special order. We have this on in stock- but will only use this design in the future if I get a specific order.  We call this our Indiana mid-west bracelet because the badger lives as far east as Indiana but no further.  Of course this badger is medicine for other folks from other parts of the US and Canada so you can live anywhere and wear it!

Badger large bracelet: $500  is.

We have a small 4 &1/2" double heart and turtle bracelet for $200.

The first 2 pictures are the side and top of a bracelet with 3 hearts (hearts represent the strawberry also- that we pick on the way to heaven- so remind us of our ancestors) and double curves for new life and future generations.  Three hearts reminds us of the 3 worlds and the past, present and future - $275

The second two pictures are the side and top of a turtle bracelet combined with double curves.  The symbols represent new life, balance, and the turtle island that we gather our foods from and live on.  We have one small one left $275 (Size 5.1)

       $100sizes 5" X 1/4", 6&1/4 " X 1/4"

My first Woodland Indian design bracelet was one using Micmac porcupine quill box designs from the 10th and early 20th cent.  Seen below are top and sides.  I no longer have one made up, but will make a similar one soon.  The 8 pointed star is both the starfish and the morning star of the east.  It symbolizes the Eastern most of our peoples - those living on the Atlantic and even into Newfoundland where my own ancestors one resided for a few generations at least. The other symbols may mean balance and the 3 worlds- - the underworld, this world and the heavens.  The rays of light at the bottom symbolize a hope for renewed spirit for all our Indigenous Nations... we still live!

Sterling Silver Bracelet for $300.  We also have a larger 7" X 1/ & 1/4" for $400. It combines the 8 point star design with the Earth Turtle. They make a great set for a couple!

Below are Connecticut Indian Painted Basket Designs on Sterling Bracelet.  Paul uses 19th C basket designs to keep them alive in a new form of expression.   This one is also sold, the World or Earth Turtle with designs from old New England baskets on it's sides.  .

Large bracelets like the one above are now $500

A bracelet with turtles and stars is $300

Sunrise Drum has been a business since 1985.  Paul and Andrea are enrolled in the Piqua Shawnee (state recognized tribe for purposes of the Indian Arts and Crafts Act). Paul has been learning and creating traditional art work since he was a child. Much of his work is inspired by traditional designs of the Eastern Woodland including Wôbenaki ('People  of the East' or 'Dawn'), Newfoundland Native, Shawnee, and Hodenosaune (Iroquois) Peoples. The name 'Sunrise Drum' is a simplified version of Paul's Indian name. Andrea is most inspired by the material culture of the mid-western and southern Shawnee, Lenape, Mingo and Cherokee.  Paul's mark used on all of his art pieces is similar to the logo at the top - sunrise around a drum - this reminds him of some of his Native ancestors who lived on the East side of Newfoundland (as sunrise as you can get!).  See more: More Historical Information
